Taylor Blackwell is an actor, artist, children’s book illustrator, podcast host, writer, and musician. Taylor was born September 1st, 1998 in West Palm Beach Florida. At age nineteen, she has a passion for all things art. Taylor began acting five years old, and has appeared in dozens of national commercials, films, theater productions, and network TV programs. She has also done hundreds of national print campaigns, catalogs, and voice over work.
Taylor is the host of CelebriTAY, a 20-30 minute podcast where she interview some of the most talented young people in the entertainment. Be sure to subscribe/leave a review on iTunes. Taylor has loved art from an early age, and has a fascination with 60s pop art. She sells her own original artwork prints on Etsy, and at flea markets around Los Angeles. Her work is heavily inspired by the works of Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, Jim Shaw, Kerry James Marshall, Basquiat, and others.
She is the illustrator of Fred Needs A Hat, a children’s book written by Marc Zatorsky. With cold weather approaching, a young boy goes on a quest for a winter hat, but is sidetracked by the inventor of a “thingamajig.” You can buy the book here.
Taylor does vocals/plays guitar for “the tenth” – a Los Angeles based bubblegum punk band with Harley Quinn Smith. “the tenth” will be releasing their first EP, “Boys We Don’t Know”, in the next coming days.
